The A-List Celebrity Twins You Never Knew Existed

Ashton And Michael Kutcher

Although the Kutcher twins don't look much alike and followed different career paths, Michael Kutcher has made his own mark on the world. Born with cerebral palsy, Michael now devotes his life to serving as a vocal advocate for children with the condition. Growing up in a tiny town in Iowa, Ashton became the “protector” of his twin brother early on. “I was the kid with the big Coke-bottle glasses, the hearing aid,” says Ashton’s twin, Michael. “There was a lot of teasing, the normal mean stuff,” he added. “Looking out for my twin was a big part of my life,” Ashton recently spilled, adding that seeing what Michael had to go through gave him an “understanding of what it’s like to be the other guy”

Patricia And Gisele Bündchen

And you thought competing with your sister was rough...try being a twin to a Victoria's Secret supermodel! Astronomically famous supermodel Gisele complains that Patricia, her fraternal twin, was the more attractive one growing up, but it looks like the tides have turned as the pair aged. Either way, could you imagine living in this household as a kid? Younger twin Patricia also modeled, but left the business to manage her sister and they two seem to get along perfectly.

Scarlett And Hunter Johansson

The Johansson parents must be packing some pretty serious genetic firepower what with the one-two punch they managed to pull off with twins Scarlett and Hunter Johansson. Hunter most recently was a campaign manager for President Obama showing that political activism runs in the family. Younger than Scarlett by only three minutes, hunky Hunter works for Barack Obama as a campaign organiser in Denver. And friends of Scar’s bro, 27, say he’s “polite” and “wears jeans and a T-shirt off duty and often uses words like ‘dude’ and ‘bro’.” Scarlett credits her brother with helping her get through her divorce, while Hunter says she is his go-to person for girl advice. “She tells me how girls think,” he spilled. “When I’m stuck, I call. She’s set me up on dates. It wasn’t with anybody famous, it was with some school friends – all very beautiful, wonderful girls.”

Kiefer And Rachel Sutherland

We all know the 24 star and his famous dad, Hunger Games actor Donald Sutherland, but a more behind the-scenes family member is Kiefer’s twin, Rachel. Born in London seven minutes after her hard-partying brother, she works as a post-production supervisor. Kiefer has a tendency to terrorise his little sis; “From the age of five I loved to hide behind a chair and scare the shit out of my twin,” he admitted – poor girl. "My mother made a point of allowing us to be different," said the 24 star. "She didn't get into that cutie thing of wearing the same outfits. We had a strong sense of our own identities."

Alanis And Wade Morissette

Isn't it ironic that Alanis Morissette has a twin? No, not really, but neither were any of the things that Morissette talked about in her 1996 hit song "Ironic." But we digress. Wade played piano and guitar growing up, but it wasn't until he combined his passion for yoga with his love of music that he found his true calling. As a spokesman for lululemon athletica apparel, Wade joined the Yoga Pilgrimage in 2005 and toured to promote his debut album, "Sargam Scales of Music." He's been rocking the yoga circuit ever since. Maybe if Wade had taught Alanis how to align her chakras, "Jagged Little Pill" might have been a kinder, gentler album. “It can be a bit daunting to have a twin whose debut album was – and still is – one of the highest selling albums of all time,” Wade recently admitted. “There’s a danger of being overshadowed, and it’s a practice for anyone to hold their own.” But they have a great relationship, and with him living in Vancouver and Alanis in LA, Wade says they “text incessantly”.

Isabella and Isotta Ingrid Rossellini

The daughters of silver screen icon Ingrid Bergman and legendary Italian director Robert Rossellini, fraternal twins Isabella and Isotta Ingrid Bergman took very different paths. Isabella used her flawless beauty to launch a modeling career, act in such films as "Blue Velvet" and "Fearless," and land famous lovers, like Martin Scorsese (her husband from 1979 to 1982), David Lynch, and Gary Oldman. Ingrid, on the other hand, chose to stay out of the spotlight. After earning a PhD in Italian Literature at Columbia University, Ingrid became a professor and has taught at Harvard and Princeton. And, proving that twins don't always think alike, the sisters had a very public rift in 2006 when Isabella screened her short film "My Dad Is 100 Years Old" prior to a retrospective of his work at the Tribeca Film Festival. Ingrid felt the short made a joke of her father's illustrious career and was hurt that Isabella would link it directly to his film during the festival.

Vin Diesel and Paul Vincent

Vin Diesel is an action star and also a director, writer and producer having three production companies under his kitty while Paul is a film editor. They are also named among the 15 richest Hollywood celebrity twins. Vin Diesel twin brother, Paul leads a very private life away from glitz and glamour while Vin prefers to remain away from paparazzi too and said that he would rather date in Europe where much people do not recognize him and start crowding him. Many people wonder why do the brothers have a different surname. Well, in reality they have a same surname, Vincent. Very few people know that Vin’s real name is Mark Sinclair Vincent which he changed to Vin Diesel while he was working as a bouncer in a nightclub as they were not allowed to reveal their true identity to the public.

Giovanni and Marissa Ribisi

When future actors Giovanni and Marissa Ribisi were born, they were delivered by Bibbe Hansen. Giovanni grew up to play Phoebe's brother, Frank, Jr., on "Friends" and Scarlett Johansson's photographer-husband in "Lost in Translation." Marissa appeared in "Dazed and Confused," "The Brady Bunch Movie," and "Felicity" before launching her own clothing line, Whitley Kros. And Bibbe Hansen? She ended up becoming Marissa's mother-in-law, when Ribisi married Bibbe's son, Beck Hansen, who is better known as indie rock darling Beck.
